Principal Responsibilities:We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Preschool Assistant Teacher who supports the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment for young children. Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, at a rate of $16/hour.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily classroom routines, including arrival, transitions, meals, rest time, and dismissal
- Supervise children to ensure safety and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios at all times
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Help foster a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and teaching team
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and overall readiness
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Reliable, organized, and able to take initiative
