14 has originated approximately 5GWdc of solar and solar + storage projects.

Prospect
14 is developing utility‑scale and community solar energy projects across North America. We enable landowners, power purchasers, and later‑stage project developers to participate in the rapid growth of the solar energy market.

Position Overview

Prospect
14 is seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Development Associate to support the development of utility‑scale solar, DG and community solar, and battery energy storage projects. This role will work closely with Project Development Managers and cross‑functional teams to coordinate project activities, maintain development documentation, track project milestones, and support due diligence efforts.

This position is ideal for candidates seeking to build a career in renewable energy development and gain exposure to all aspects of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination
  • Support project development team in advancing renewable energy projects through various stages of development.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, and development databases.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and document action items and follow‑up tasks.
  • Assist in preparing project reports and status updates.
Due Diligence Support
  • Coordinate consultant engagements and track project deliverables.
  • Assist with environmental, title, survey, engineering, and permitting diligence activities.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation and data rooms.
  • Conduct research related to permitting, regulatory requirements, and market conditions.
Stakeholder Support
  • Assist with landowner communications and project correspondence.
  • Support interactions with utilities, permitting agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate public meetings, stakeholder outreach efforts, and project presentations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Origination, Real Estate, Interconnection, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Assist with acquisition and transaction diligence activities.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external project materials.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Studies, Geography, Engineering, Planning, Political Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in renewable energy, real estate, project management, consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheets.
Preferred
  • Experience in renewable energy development or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Understanding of solar, battery storage, or electric utility industries.

  • Development teams have accurate and organized project information.
  • Due diligence activities are completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Stakeholders receive timely communication and support.
  • Projects progress smoothly through development milestones.
Travel

Limited to moderate travel (approximately 10–20%) for project meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagement activities.
