Customer Service Rep
Job Overview
The Greeter Service Ambassador is responsible for welcoming and greeting patients and guests to the facility in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner. This role also assists with inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services, enters patient information into the hospital database accurately, and protects patient privacy by following HIPAA standards.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all patients, co‑workers and clients.
- Respond to emergencies and assist visitors with directions, information and other inquiries.
- Enter confidential patient information into the hospital database, deliver messages, items or amenities as requested, ensuring confidentiality.
- Sanitize and perform light cleaning of personal work area using provided materials.
- Report accidents and incidents to the manager immediately; use only trained equipment and adhere to disaster codes and response plans.
- Transport patients via wheelchair within the facility.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age; must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- One to three months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of telephones, alarm systems, two‑way radios, fire panels and surveillance system.
- Ability to read, speak and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Basic computer skills, data entry, phone etiquette, HIPAA requirements.
- Strong communication and customer service skills; calm under stress.
Hourly pay: $18.00 per hour.

- Must talk, hear, sit or stand for extended periods, walk, run, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must work in a climate‑controlled environment and may be exposed to inclement weather.
- Must use personal protective equipment as needed.
- Must travel up to 5% of time.
