Settlement Officer Opportunity

Our client is a boutique title agency dedicated to protecting home ownership and real estate investments through comprehensive title insurance and legal services. They are looking to hire an additional Settlement Officer for their office on the main line due to growth. They pride themselves on their passion for delivering exceptional service and results.

Salary Range - $80 to $85K plus commission - based on education, skills and experience

Benefits

Hours/Schedule - 9 to 5 in office (some flexibility, standard hybrid schedule not available)

Position Summary:

The Settlement Officer manages the end-to-end title closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating with clients, agents, lenders, and attorneys, resolving issues, and maintaining seamless communication throughout each transaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee title orders from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate closings.
  • Prepare and verify all required closing documents.
  • Serve as the primary client contact during closings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve title issues.
  • Promote best practices and process improvements.
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of title processing experience required and post-closing experience.
  • Superior client facing skills, professional with business acumen within title industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills (Verbal/Written and unspoken)
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel; familiarity with Soft Pro or Simplifile preferred.
  • Team-oriented, customer-focused, client facing, and organized.
