The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition teamplay a pivotal role in building and maintaining a high-quality team of caregivers. This team is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and ensuring caregiver compliance to support the success of our agency. The HR and Talent Acquisition team is extremely important to the success of the company as they are the ones choosing who we send to our clients.
This team also plays a role in the staffing of newly onboarded caregivers by providing insight into the caregiver’s strengths and weaknesses to the Scheduling & Staffing team.
Serving Spirit is opening an office in a new geography to expand its presence. This position will be one of the leads of the new office and will be highly incentivized to drive growth for the agency while maintaining the highest standards of home care.
Responsibilities- Source, screen, and interview potential caregivers to identify individuals who align with our agency's values and commitment to excellence in home care
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Provide necessary training and support to equip caregivers with the skills and knowledge required for success.
- Collaborate with the Scheduling and Staffing team to strategically match caregivers with clients based on skills, experience, and client needs
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and company policies to ensure compliance in all HR and staffing practices. Implement and enforce best practices to maintain a high level of professionalism and legality.
- Cultivate positive relationships with caregivers, promoting a supportive and engaging work environment. Foster a sense of community within the caregiver team.
- 3-5 yrs experience in Homecare, recruitment, HR or other relevant experience.
- Organized and detail-oriented individual with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Google suite/Microsoft Office, comfort in learning ATS and client care management software systems.
- Must have a high level of integrity and appropriately handle confidential information.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
