The Packaging Technician will work with the production team to produce strange and beautiful beer. The main responsibilities are to carry out all processes related to packaging beer (primarily in cans and kegs). This includes maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the packaging area and the equipment therein. Packaging team members should expect 35+ hours of work a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Following proper SOPs in all aspects of production
- Efficiently packaging beer in all formats (primarily cans, but also kegs and bottles)
- Attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Conducting keg cleaning operations
- Running CIP cycles on brite beer tanks
- Cleaning any and all exterior surfaces in the brewery (outsides of tanks, kegs, canning line, etc)
- Occasionally assisting in processing fruits and spices
- Occasionally assisting with shipping and receiving work (using a forklift or pallet jack, organizing loading bay, warehousing raw materials)
- Assisting all Production team members in their roles whenever possible
- Participating in team and company-wide meetings
- Adhering to all safety protocols set in place by Tired Hands Brewing Company

Minimum Qualifications:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or more years working production in a similar craft beverage industry
- Valid driver's license with no restrictions
- Able to lift 35lbs; able to move 55+lbs using tools such as a hand truck or a forklift
- Able to kneel and stoop occasionally
- Able to stand and work for up to 12 hours at a time
Qualifications:
- One or more years of brewery, warehouse, or food processing experience
