PT Support Lead

Position Type:
Hourly. Starting at $11.50 per hour.

• Ensures all crew members are wowing customers through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring fast and friendly check‑out.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening and closing procedures, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates, covering store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses, actively seeking ways to boost sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and world recovery.
• Performs store maintenance, such as taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Operate cash register frequently.
• Move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place or remove items up to 5‑10 feet in height.
• Ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Take positions to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Communicate with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face, exchanging accurate information.
• Assist customers across the sales floor and to and from the stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and occasional travel as required.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain stationary and upright for approximately 80% of the time.
• Be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable laws.
