JOB DESCRIPTION – Teacher
TITLE:
Teacher; FTE: 1.0; FLSA STATUS:
Exempt; WORK CALENDAR: 186 days new hires/183 days returning teachers; COMPENSATION:
Certified Teacher Compensation Guide (starting w/Prop 301 monies $59,172)
The teacher must have a valid Arizona teaching certificate for the position to which the individual is assigned
- The teacher must be able to obtain either a Provisional SEI endorsement, a full ESL endorsement, or a full Bilingual endorsement
- The teacher must be able to become highly qualified in the core content for the position to which the individual is assigned
- Current and valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong writing, literacy, and communication skills; uses effective communication strategies to interact with a variety of audiences
Bilingual communication is beneficial
Computer SkillsMust be proficient with technology (i.e. email, Google Suites, grading software, instructional platforms, etc.)
