Senior Estimator – Water​/Wastewater

SECTR Partners has partnered with a industry leading heavy civil general contractor specializing in water/wastewater, wet utilities and roadway construction. Our client is seeking an experienced estimator to join their team in Arizona. This role involves contributing to the success of the company’s expanding W/WW & Wet Utilities division through the bidding, winning & estimating of relevant projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination and consolidation.
• Reviews the design scope and develop quantities.
• Performs analysis of estimates, prepare contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimates.
• Performs comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects.
• Prepares management presentations and develop the estimate basis.
• Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriate.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience estimating for W/WW or utility projects
• BS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field
• Knowledge of construction equipment/techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and required standards
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
