Position: Staff Accountant - Income Audit
Location: Sedona

Work Performed

Maintain and balance automated systems for daily reporting

Input data in various financial or similar systems

Maintain proper documentation and organized files

Answer accounting and financial questions

Research and interpret data

Provide daily reporting

Utilize Microsoft Excel spreadsheets

Compute accurate mathematical calculations

Work closely with other departments to ensure proper recording of information

Handle cash

Troubleshoot common accounting problems

Provide accounting support to multiple team members

Create and maintain reports with speed and accuracy

Handle confidential and sensitive financial information

Other duties as assigned

Supervision Exercised: None.

Supervision Received: Accounting Manager & Assistant Director of Finance

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred or equivalent work experience. Previous hospitality experience is highly desired. Appropriate combination of education and work experience to support on-the-job effectiveness. Must have strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize deadlines as well as accuracy with an eye for detail. Strong Excel skills are critical. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and works well with others.

Able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision.
