We are currently seeking a qualified Neurology Physician for a locum tenens position near Cameron, Arizona. This role is ideal for a board-certified or board-eligible neurologist who is looking for a flexible schedule and a rewarding practice setting. The position involves providing outpatient neurological care with a focus on patient-centered treatment.

• Location: Near Cameron, Arizona
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Standard 8-hour day shifts
  • Includes a 1-hour lunch break

• Specialty: Neurology (Outpatient)
• Patient Load:
  • Approximately 12 patients per day
  • 36 patient-contact hours per week, with 4 hours allocated for charting and administrative tasks
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based with an emphasis on outpatient care

    Cerner (Preferred)

• Patient Care:
  • Provide comprehensive neurological evaluations and treatment
  • Manage a variety of neurological conditions
  • Perform procedures such as BOTOX injections and occipital nerve blocks (ONB), preferred but not required
• Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Documentation: Utilize the Cerner EMR system for accurate and efficient patient documentation

• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Licensure: Must have an active Arizona medical license or be eligible to obtain one. IMLC accepted.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
  • DEA registration required
• Experience: Experience with specific procedures such as BOTOX and ONB is preferred
