This hybrid position supports a tuition‑free, fully virtual Arizona charter school that swaps traditional worksheets for experiential learning and prioritizes personal development. Students handle core academics independently in two concentrated hours daily using AI‑powered platforms. Their remaining time is dedicated to developing practical skills through facilitated workshops, coaching sessions, and exploratory activities.

Your role won’t involve delivering pre‑written lessons or monitoring a virtual classroom. Instead, you’ll facilitate dynamic online sessions that push students to think critically, create, collaborate, and develop. You’ll guide them through storytelling, entrepreneurship, wellness, and critical thinking while fostering independence, self‑assurance, and executive function skills.

This position isn’t designed for educators attempting to recreate conventional schooling via Zoom. It’s for licensed teachers prepared to relocate to Arizona, embrace a hybrid model, and support students in ways that genuinely equip them for life beyond school. • Facilitating engaging virtual workshops centered on life skills including communication, creativity, critical thinking, and self‑direction
• Providing one‑on‑one and small‑group mentorship to cultivate confidence, accountability, and executive function in students
• Leveraging platform analytics and student indicators to customize support and monitor development over time
• Partnering with peer educators to design and refine project‑based learning experiences iteratively
• Establishing a secure, energizing environment where students feel acknowledged, challenged, and inspired to develop

• Instructing core academic subjects; adaptive AI tutors manage those
• Presenting scripted lectures or operating within a traditional classroom framework
• Evaluating worksheets, assigning homework, or creating standardized lesson plans

• Available to begin on August 1st, 2026
• Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
• At least 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring in virtual or online settings using videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams) and e‑learning tools (Canvas, Google Classroom, or similar)
• At least 3 years of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth ages 8–14
• Educated (K–16) within the U.S., Canada, or U.K. school systems
• Strong virtual presence and comfort leading students via video
• Willing to work full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm U.S. Mountain Time (Arizona time)
• Willing to work in a hybrid role in Arizona

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
