This is a full-time on-site role in Maricopa, AZ, for a Developmental Preschool Teacher. The role entails creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, delivering developmentally appropriate instruction, and fostering a positive learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include providing support for students with varying developmental needs, assessing progress, and communicating with parents and caregivers about student growth. The teacher will collaborate with support staff and other educators to meet the needs of all learners and ensure they meet readiness goals for kindergarten.
Qualifications- Strong foundation in Early Childhood Education and knowledge of developmental milestones
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored for young learners
- Experience and skills in fostering Kindergarten readiness and supporting students’ transitions
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and colleagues
- Arizona teaching certification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent credentials
- A passion for working with preschool-aged children and a commitment to inclusive education
- Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for diverse learners
- Experience or familiarity with special education services is a plus
