Job Summary
The West Texas A&M College of Engineering invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Mathematics to begin fall of 2026. The preferred candidate holds a doctoral degree in mathematics.
Work Performed- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in mathematics and/or mathematical statistics.
- Develop a scholarly research program incorporating graduate and undergraduate students.
- Serve as an academic advisor to students in the major.
- Assist college leadership in driving curriculum design and development.
- Active participation on discipline, college and/or university committees.
- Active engagement in professional development activities.
- Be involved in education outreach activities.
- Willingness to assume other duties as assigned.
Doctoral degree in mathematics.
Preferred QualificationsExperience and/or interest in K-12 mathematics education.
