High School Science Teacher
Colorado City Unified School District-El Capitan K-12, Colorado City, AZ. Full-time position. Four-day week.
Job OverviewEl Capitan High School is hiring a Science teacher to provide instruction in grades 7-12. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a science field will be considered, with a commitment to meeting certification requirements. Teachers are expected to teach six courses (typically five science courses and one elective).
LocationThe school is located just 22 miles east of Hurricane, Utah and 30 miles west of Fredonia, Arizona.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging science lesson plans for grades 7-12.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and attend professional development sessions.
- Must hold a valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or be in process of qualifying for certificate.
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Salary: $50,000 per year plus additional salary incentive. Benefits include retirement, health insurance, and life insurance. Four-day work week.
