Community Education Preschool/Before & After Programs Assistant Site Supervisor

Nadaburg Unified School District is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Site Supervisor to support our Community Education programs. This role assists in daily operations, staff support, and ensures compliance with DHS licensing while helping maintain a safe and engaging environment for children.

Program Support

• Assist with daily operations of preschool and school-age programs.
• Support implementation of lesson plans and activities.

Staff & Operations Support

• Assist with staff scheduling and daily coverage.
• Provide support and guidance to program staff.
• Support onboarding and training of staff.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow DHS Child Care Licensing requirements.
• Assist in maintaining records and documentation.
• Monitor classroom and playground safety.

Family Communication

• Communicate with families regarding daily activities and student needs.
• Support Site Supervisor with parent questions and/or concerns.

Quality First Support

• Help maintain high-quality classroom environments.
• Support developmentally appropriate practices.
• Encourage positive child engagement.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months of child care experience, preferred.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aide Certification (or ability to obtain prior to starting).

• Experience in preschool and/or school-age programs.
• Knowledge of DHS Licensing requirements.
• Experience in a leadership or support role.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud and can vary in temperature. The nature of this position is fast-paced and may occasionally be thought of as stressful. Through interaction with the public and other district employees, the employee may encounter different scents.
