Salary: $20.50 – $25.50 per hour

Schedule:

Summer day camps, Monday–Friday, full‑time

We are looking for smart, creative, and dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and problem‑solving skills.

• Teach LEGO classes and camps, introducing STEM concepts and fostering creativity.
• Set up and break down equipment before and after each class.
• Drive to/from class locations as needed.
• Complete all training programs required by the Area Manager.
• Serve as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
• Understand the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests.
• Manage each class session, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
• Communicate with parents and clients respectfully and tactfully to address questions or concerns.
• Adhere to all Play-Well and facility safety procedures for supervision and release of children.
• Care for, safekeeping, and upkeep of assigned LEGO teaching kit(s).
• Respond quickly to communication from management (phone, text, email, or mail).
• Communicate regularly with the Area Manager regarding questions, concerns, and updates.

Drive‑time mileage reimbursement: $.40 per mile for transporting materials.

Allowances for electronics, internet, and kit storage.

Paid sick leave and safety leave.

• Work history varies; teaching/instruction experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation is a must; secure location to store teaching materials.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stoop, and crawl with children during instruction.
• Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Lego enthusiast or interest in STEM education.
