The Playground Aide supervises students on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in other areas as assigned. In addition, employee encourages student activities that will contribute toward the health, safety, and desirable social skills and habits of the students while on the school playground, during the lunch period, and at other assigned times and locations. Employee will also fulfill other related duties as required or assigned.
The Playground Aide will administer safety rules with students and make sure they follow all school guidelines and rules. Act as mediator when needed to de-escalate issues between students.
- Employee supervises students on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in other areas as assigned.
- In addition, employee encourages student activities that will contribute toward the health, safety, and desirable social skills and habits of the students during the lunch period, and at other assigned times and locations.
- Employee will also fulfill other related duties as required or assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrate professionalism in attitude and demeanor
- Positive, effective communication skills in dealing with students, employees, parents, and the community
- Must have or be able to obtain an IVPP Fingerprint Clearance card through Arizona Department of Public Safety
