Junior Class Sponsor Compensation
Stipend – $1,000 (Paid at the End of the School Year)

Terms of EmploymentDuring the 176-Day Teacher Work Year
EvaluationPerformance on this position will be evaluated in accordance with district procedures for Extra Duty Personnel.
Supervisory DutiesSupervises students during sponsored activities and events.
Job SummaryThe Junior Class Sponsor is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to students in planning and organizing grade‑level activities and events throughout the school year. The sponsor will promote school spirit, student engagement, positive behavior, teamwork, and communication between students, administration, and the school community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist students in organizing and implementing junior class activities and events
- Facilitate regular class meetings and prom committee meetings
- Coordinate fundraising activities to support prom and other class events
- Organize prom planning, including venues, supplies, decorations, and event supervision
- Assist the junior class in hosting and decorating for prom
- Conduct and maintain accurate monetary transactions and records related to prom activities
- Serve as liaison for spirit week activities and school events
- Act as a liaison between students, staff, administration, and parents
Promote positive student involvement, leadership, and school pride
General Responsibilities- Supervise students during meetings, activities, and events
- Maintain effective communication with administration, staff, students, and parents
- Ensure activities and events comply with district policies and procedures
Perform all other duties as dictated by law and/or assigned by the Supervisor and/or Administration
Qualifications- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and administration
- Ability to supervise and coordinate student activities and events
Knowledge of school procedures and student activity expectations preferred
Other Requirements- Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background clearance check
