Assistant Archery Coach

Job Summary

An Assistant Archery Coach is responsible for the supervision of club participants, providing a safe and fun learning environment, and serving as a positive role model.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, plan, lead, and assist with all archery activities.
  • Teach basic archery skills to club members.
  • Assist Archery Coach with ensuring safety of participants.
  • Assist with enforcing all rules and procedures.
  • Set up and take down all equipment before and after club activities.
  • Maintain a fun and competitive environment.
  • Maintain and safeguard archery equipment.
Minimum Education and/or Experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be a certified Level I Basic Archery Instructor through NASP.
  • Previous archery experience.
  • Experience working with students.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud and can vary in temperature. The nature of this position is fast‑paced and may occasionally be thought of as stressful. Through interaction with the public and other district employees, the employee may encounter different scents.
