Special Education Teacher

This 36-week contract Special Education Teacher position in Maricopa, AZ offers competitive pay up to $57 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Manage classroom behavior to foster a safe and productive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student success.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent certification/license.
Valid state teaching certification in Special Education with active licensure.
Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher, with skills in IEPs, behavior management, and inclusive classroom strategies.
Ability to pass background checks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and ability to work days in a school setting.
Ability to handle physical demands of classroom management and support student needs.
