POSITION STATUS: REGULAR FULL-TIME, FLSA NON-EXEMPT
HOURS PER WEEK: 40
POSITION
DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Drop Count Supervisor, this position is responsible for removing all bill acceptors from gaming devices, as well as for the accurate count and verification of the drop. The employee must follow all applicable policies and procedures and perform other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential functions may include the following tasks: knowledge, skills, and other characteristics. This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and tasks performed by positions in this class.
- Provide exceptional guest service to external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way:
Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye. - Primarily responsible for removing cash from the slot machines, the scaling and wrapping of the coins/tokens, and the physical count of the money. Reports the results to the Lead/ Supervisor for review.
- Responsible for ensuring count room security.
- Proficient at ten key calculators.
- Must possess above-standard verbal and written skills.
- Must write legibly and display proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
- Must work well under stressful time constraints.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Must lift 40 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds.
- Must obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of cashier experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference will be given to qualified applicants from federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
