This position is responsible for providing a memorable experience for guests while protecting the assets and following the SOPs of the Table Games while demonstrating the We-Ko-Pa Way at all times.
Responsible for prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing of assigned games following the SOPs of the Table Games.
Accurately exchanges gaming chips for currency.
Follow detailed procedures in preparation for opening a game and closing a game.
Maintains speed, accuracy, and courtesy with guests.
Essential Duties:
- Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards:
Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you and Goodbye. - Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way.
- Accountable to all standards outlined in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino Resort service guide.
- Ability to handle and deal with verbal and/or behavioral conflicts.
- Maintains analytical and calculation accuracy during highly repetitive job duties.
- Remains diplomatic during situations of verbal disagreement with patrons.
- Must constantly observe players to protect the integrity of the game, promote positive patron relations, assist players with rules of play, and ensure adherence to established regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains the ability and willingness to deal for lengthy periods, with significant periods between breaks.
- Report any problems or suspicious activities on gaming tables to the Supervisor.
- Must have in-depth knowledge (acquired within six months) and a thorough understanding of Policies and Procedures, and government regulations, relevant to their responsibilities, such as the following:
- U.S. Treasury Bank Secrecy Act (with regards to Title 31 and suspicious activity reports about casino activity)
- Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
- Has the ability to work varying hours and days when needed.
- Must be available for duty on holidays and special event days.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including an extensive background and fingerprint check).
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or G.E.D
One year of dealing experience preferred.
Indian Preference:
Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
