Job Summary

Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate cashier services to our customers and employees.

• Responsible for the operation of assigned bank or window according to procedures and regulations.
• Verify incoming count for assigned bank or window.
• Count down bank or window at end of each shift and reconcile to cage accountability or window impressment.
• Operate coin and currency counting equipment.
• Complete or verify transfers to and from the vault, cage, slots, poker, table games, cash devices, or other cash handling areas across the casino.
• Transport funds with carts to and from the vault, cage, slots, poker, table games, cash devices, or other cash handling areas across the casino.
• Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
• Act as a role model to other employees, presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encouraging others to do the same.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in general cash handling required.
• Cashiering knowledge, good math and problem‑solving abilities required.
• Excellent guest and human relations skills.
• Ability to work as a team and with co‑workers.
• Ability to work any shift as well as fluctuating times and days as needed.
• Well‑groomed appearance.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Ability to maneuver in closed quarters, including all areas of the cashiering stations and vault.
• Capability to push, pull, lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned area.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10‑key adding machine, PC, fax machine, and photo copier.
• Work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
• Respond to visual and auditory cues.
• Work in a smoke‑filled environment.
