Location: Bitter Springs
Overview
The Bitter Fringes is a series of stand‑up and comedy shows by new and local comedians between 10 July and 16 August, giving performers the chance to test longer sets and full shows without travel costs.
How It Works- Participation fee: £100 per show (covers marketing, staffing, and venue costs).
- Each act receives a dedicated Box Office Page; payment of 80 % of net takings after card fees.
- Venue time: 3 hours (setup, doors, takedown) – shows should run 60–90 minutes.
- Shows run in Book Bar (capacity 30); may be moved to Theatre space if sold out.
- Musical acts or projections require a technician.
- Applications close 9 am Monday 15 June.
