Job Overview
This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and serving as the primary lending specialist within the financial center. Responsibilities include delivering First Mortgage and HELOC lending products in person or by telephone and offering additional products such as Auto Loans, Credit Cards, and Core Banking services. The position requires balancing sales performance, operational risk, and client relationship care. License requirements include registration with the SAFE Act federal registry and compliance with all background check obligations.
Responsibilities- Provide specialized and personalized service to financial center clients through the full spectrum of borrowing and banking offerings.
- Build and deepen relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging the bank’s capabilities.
- Analyze client financial needs and recommend appropriate financial services.
- Present home lending product solutions, submit mortgage applications, assist clients with documentation, and keep clients informed via calls, email, and online messaging.
- Conduct outreach and pipeline management activities, performing consistent follow‑up to meet client needs.
- Respond to client requests and make referrals to internal partners as appropriate.
- Collaborate with financial center leaders, performance managers, and market leaders to provide guidance and coaching on client experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of mortgage origination experience or equivalent demonstrable ability in assess-client needs, consultative sales, and building trust.
- Strong active listening skills, proactive client interaction, and professional, confident communication in person and over the phone.
- Critical thinker capable of analyzing financial and credit data to advise on product and pricing policies and gather additional information.
- Effective customer service skills to manage the full client experience and resolve problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, performance‑oriented with a strong work ethic.

- Experience in a retail loan origination role and knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, Jumbo, HELOC, Government).
- Understanding of structuring, processing, underwriting, and closing procedures, and federal real‑estate lending regulations.
- Familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines.
- Experience with other lending products such as Credit Card and Vehicle Loans.

Hourly Pay: $26.00 - $30.83, depending on experience, education, and skill set.
