This role is a client-facing position, supporting commercial banking clients with a range of financial transactions and ensuring exceptional service. The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Work hours may vary)
Responsibilities
The CBSR is a vital liaison, facilitating commercial banking transactions and providing comprehensive support for deposit account servicing. This role involves coordinating end-to-end processes, collaborating with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with policies. The CBSR also assists with account management, transaction processing, and resolving client issues and complaints, fostering strong client relationships and promoting the bank s products and services.
- Act as the primary liaison for commercial banking transactions, including loans, lines of credit, leases, and letters of credit
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end processing of transactions, from documentation to disbursements and collateral maintenance
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate closings
- Support Commercial Banking Officers with portfolio management, including updating systems, clearing items, and ensuring compliance
- Provide comprehensive support for deposit account servicing, including account openings, maintenance, and transaction processing
- Manage bank card services, handle transaction disputes, and update cardholder profiles
- Support digital banking platforms by facilitating user access and troubleshooting issues
- Respond to client inquiries, resolve operational issues, and manage service complaints
- Foster strong relationships with commercial clients, ensuring satisfaction and growth
- Stay updated on the bank s products and services to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience in banking/financial services operations required
- Basic understanding of financial products, services, and accounting concepts
- Knowledge of working with databases, systems, and PC desktop technology
- General understanding of business products and services, including ancillary areas
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Highly accurate, organized, and capable of efficient follow-up and task prioritization
- Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to follow through on tasks and work as part of a team
- Active Notary Public certification is preferred
