Overview
Amentum seeks a Warrant Officer Basic Course (WOBC) – WO1 Certifying Course Instructor to support the Huachuca Training & Support Contract (HTASC) at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The instructor will design and deliver training, mentor students, and maintain course relevance to Army Intelligence doctrine.
Responsibilities• Discuss WO utilization and assignments, supporting certifications, training, and experience required for duty positions.
• Illustrate future force operations and describe capabilities needed to conduct missions against adversaries.
• Build relationships with resources and enablers inside and outside USAICoE to keep the POI current with Army Transformation initiatives.
• Write, edit, and develop technical documents in standard American English.
- TS/SCI or TS Interim clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
- Former MI Officer or MI Warrant Officer in good standing; completion of Warrant Officer/Officer Intermediate Level Education or equivalent.
- Experience with Army Intelligence Warfighting Function policy and doctrine (FM, ADP, ATP, AR, DoD Directives).
- Operational or training experience sufficient to execute the POI as assessed by WOTB cadre.
- Detailed knowledge of U.S. Code, operational relationships within the JIIM construct, and roles of National Security Organizations.
- Familiarity with HTAR, Global Force Management, executive/strategic communication, Sustainment Readiness Model, PPBE, and POM.
- Knowledge of Mission Essential Training List development, COMPO 2/3 integration, and WO Professional Development Programs.
- Background in Intelligence support to cyber operations, joint operations, JIPOE, ISR, and Joint Targeting.
- Working knowledge of the DOTMLPF-P framework to guide students in identifying and addressing issues.
- Familiarity with national strategic guidance documents (NSS, NSDS, NMDS).
- Instructor certification.
- Previous experience as an instructor, trainer, or curriculum developer.
- Field grade level experience (CW3 and above).
$67,000 – $100,000 (range is a good‑faith estimate; actual pay may vary).
