Park Conservationist/Service Worker

A successful candidate will operate equipment and perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance of Township parks and public lands, assist in the implementation of public events and community programs, and related duties as assigned. Weekend and Holiday work and other related duties required. Must respond to the Township’s snow removal operations, leaf program, and tree storms.

• Must have knowledge of standard tools, materials, methods, occupational hazards, and safety precautions involved in the general maintenance of public parks and recreational areas; be capable of safely operating equipment and vehicles relevant to the role; and ability to actively listen to directions.

Entry level

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have a valid N.J. driver’s license, and a CDL license with Class B endorsement is preferred.
