Ultrasound (Echo/Ultrasound) Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound (Echo/Ultrasound) Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Required Skills:
Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent Proficiency in performing echocardiography and general ultrasound procedures Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and maintain image quality standards Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control practices Effective documentation and record-keeping capabilities Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with advanced ultrasound technologies and techniques Basic knowledge of cardiac sonography Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Additional certifications such as ARDMS or CCI credentials Preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or related field Minimum of 2 years of professional ultrasound experience, preferably in a hospital setting Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and work effectively in teams Other Requirements:
Current state licensure and appropriate certifications Availability for a 7 On/7 Off shift schedule, day shift Willingness to travel for training or occasional assignments as needed Ability to comply with all applicable healthcare regulations and safety standards
