Every day can look a little different, but your presence will provide safety, comfort, and peace of mind. In this role, you will:

• Bring Joy and Connection: Share stories, enjoy hobbies, and keep seniors socially engaged and active.
• Support Daily Independence: Lend a hand with mild to moderate tasks that keep a household running smoothly, such as light house cleaning, meal preparation, and light yardwork.
• Provide Safe Passage: Focus on in-home companion support; you may occasionally assist a senior with transportation to local errands or appointments.
• Offer Specialized Peace of Mind: Provide vital respite care and specialized companionship for families navigating advanced aging needs, including Alzheimer’s, cancer, or post-surgery recovery.

What We Are Looking For (Safety & Trust)

We value consistency. To join our team, you must bring:

• Physical Agility & Awareness: You should be physically active and capable of handling everyday tasks (bending, lifting, reaching). You must maintain situational awareness and quick reflexes to ensure environmental safety and to guide a senior during emergencies such as a fire.
• Absolute Reliability: Consistency is vital to seniors’ well-being; you should be mature, dependable, and committed to scheduled shifts.
• A Ready Vehicle: A valid US Driver’s License, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance to travel to seniors’ homes.
• Background & Credentials: Ability to pass a thorough criminal background check and personality evaluation. While medical backgrounds aren’t required for companion roles, licensed RNs, CNAs, HHAs, and LPN/LVNs may be matched for advanced care.

• Schedules Built for Stability: We work with you to build a consistent, stable schedule with the same regular seniors. Hours are built progressively as we find the right matches.
• Flexible Availability: You control your availability. We operate as a 24/7 care provider and tailor your schedule around your lifestyle.
• Thoughtful Matching: We take time to understand your background and hobbies to pair you with a compatible senior, fostering a meaningful bond.

Onboarding Process

• Initial Connection: A quick 10-minute call to discuss location and availability.
• The Interview: Conversation about life experiences and matching preferences (via Zoom or in-person).
• The Bond: Completion of background screening and pairing with a suitable senior.
