Position: Travel /local Technician Ops Tech Lead Pharmacist
Location: Peridot

Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor, Hospital experience required

We are seeking a Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor with hospital experience. Candidates should have a PharmD degree (preferred), with 1-year residency and 2 years of experience. Other requirements include BLS certification and an AZ license (preferred).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service and compliance with standards.
  • Develop and monitor operational and financial metrics, integrating efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
  • Develop and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assess program and service effectiveness, fostering continuous process improvement.
  • Supervise staff, providing feedback and supporting professional growth.
  • Oversee computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage purchasing and inventory to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
  • Support staff development by assessing learning needs and coordinating training.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Participate in departmental orientation, training, and quality assurance programs.
  • Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain skills and discuss training needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Minimum Qualifications
    • Five years of professional experience, including two years in management.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy;
      PharmD preferred, including 1-year residency.
    • Current and valid state Pharmacy license.
    • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
    • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
