Position Summary
A Staff Pharmacist is responsible for delivering pharmaceutical care, accurately dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients on healthcare and medication needs, administering immunizations, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role involves modeling excellent customer service and fostering relationships with customers and team members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pharmaceutical care and process prescriptions accurately.
- Counsel patients on healthcare and medication use.
- Administer immunizations and participate in community programs.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Guide and model customer service approaches for pharmacy staff.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent license.
- Pharmacy license (by job entry).
- Completion of accredited immunization training program.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
- Adaptability to patient needs and medical concerns.
- Commitment to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
