Occupational Therapist School Setting in Williams, AZ

As the onsite Occupational Therapist, you will provide in-person services for a caseload of approximately 20 students over a 60-day assignment, working 7.5 hours each day. The schools fluctuating student population means youll enjoy a variety of challenges and the chance to adapt your expertise to meet unique needs as they arise.

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience with school-based OT preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to adapt care strategies for changing caseloads
• Understanding of IEP processes and special education services
• Collaborative spirit and comfort working with multidisciplinary educational teams

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapy sessions aligned with students IEP goals
• Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support each students progress
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and service reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Provide strategies for classroom modification and adaptive equipment recommendations
• Monitor caseload and adjust plans as necessary due to mobility and enrollment changes
