Nuclear Medical Technologist
Nuclear Medical Technologist position located near Sedona, AZ. The role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
- Operate and maintain nuclear imaging equipment, including SPECT and PET systems
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and hospital protocols
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide clear instructions and compassionate care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver timely results
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
- ARRT (N) certification required
- Active Arizona state licensure
Skills:
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience or strong clinical rotations
