Pharmacy Manager

Walmart is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations in a high volume retail pharmacy. In this role, you will oversee safe, accurate dispensing, ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations, and deliver exceptional patient care. You'll manage and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians, optimize inventory and controlled substances, and expand clinical services such as immunizations and MTM.

Partnering with store leadership, you will drive performance, quality, and customer satisfaction while modeling Walmart's culture of respect, service, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies.
• Provide direct patient counseling, medication therapy management, and immunization services.
• Lead, schedule, and develop pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to meet performance goals.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and controlled substances to minimize waste and ensure availability.
• Monitor quality, safety, and clinical standards, addressing errors and implementing improvements.
• Collaborate with store and health & wellness leadership to drive pharmacy performance metrics.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service to diverse patient populations.
• Use pharmacy information systems and reports to track productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support training, onboarding, and continuous development of pharmacy staff.
