Occupational Therapist School - Lakeside, AZ

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a part-time contract position near Lakeside, AZ. Make a difference while working just two days a week, onsite for the  school year. This in-person opportunity allows you to collaborate directly with school staff and help students achieve their full potential in the classroom and beyond.

• Current licensure or certification as an OT, COTA, or OTA in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desired
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to support students, teachers, and families
• Ability to create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Passion for working with children and adolescents with diverse abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and school needs

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals, two days per week
• Conduct assessments and document progress, maintaining accurate student records
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive support
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as required
  
  Contribute to a positive educational environment by guiding classroom interventions and accommodations
• Promote student independence in academics, self-care, and life skills
