Position Details Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) OpportunityLocation:
Second Mesa Day School, Second Mesa, Arizona
Contract Term:
September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
- Current speech caseload of 7 students
. - Additional hours available through:
- Two immediate communication/language evaluations for 3rd-grade students.
- Compensatory services owed to students.
- Speech reevaluations, including one overdue evaluation requiring immediate attention.
- The school has indicated that Thursdays are an ideal day for speech services and evaluations.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in our school-based programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Experience treating clients with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
