- Provide and monitor respiratory therapy for ED and inpatient units, including ventilator support (LTV-1200) and noninvasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP); administer nebulized medications as prescribed
- Assess patient status, implement and adjust treatment plans, and monitor oxygenation and ventilation; document progress and response to therapy
- Document care in the facility charting system (Medhost) with accuracy and timeliness; communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and handoffs; respond to clinical changes and emergencies
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure safe operation of ventilation, NIV devices, and nebulizers; uphold infection control and safety standards
- AZ State Respiratory Therapist license (current)
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- CPI certified within 3 months and NRP certified within 6 months of start
- At least two years of recent experience in respiratory care
- Graduate of a CoARC-accredited program or approved program of Respiratory Care;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Ability to work in a hospital ED and inpatient setting
- Availability to work holidays as needed COVID-19 vaccine not required
