IV Sterile Compounding Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in Peridot, AZThis opportunity is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting in Peridot, AZ. The role is full-time, with 40 hours per week on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, primarily covering 10-hour shifts. The assignment duration ranges from 13 to 26+ weeks, providing a substantial period to demonstrate expertise and contribute directly to patient care.
Location
Schedule / Hours
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Primarily 10-hour shifts (10:30 AM 9:00 PM)
- Some shifts may be 8:00 AM 6:30 PM
- Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacy technician support in an inpatient hospital environment
- Perform sterile compounding, including IV medication preparation
- Utilize Omnicell systems to aid medication dispensing and inventory management
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare staff to ensure safe and effective medication delivery
Qualifications / Desired Experience
- Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy technician experience
- Proficiency in sterile/IV compounding techniques
- Previous experience working with Omnicell automated dispensing systems
