San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join its collaborative pharmacy team serving the San Carlos Apache community. This role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and ER/Inpatient coverage as needed
. The pharmacist will accurately verify and dispense medications, process controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations, counsel patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide clinical pharmacy services while ensuring safe and timely medication management.
ER/Inpatient pharmacist experience strongly preferred
Must be flexible to work days, nights, swing shifts, weekends, and various pharmacy locations
Strong medication therapy knowledge and clinical judgment
Ability to accurately verify and process prescriptions in a timely manner
Experience handling controlled substances according to policy and law
Excellent patient counseling and communication skills
Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong critical-thinking skills
Required CredentialsBachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS required for inpatient/ER coverage
PALS required (may be completed on-site if needed)
