Laundry Manager - CAMP VERDE

LAUNDRY LOCATION IN CAMP VERDE

Develop, lead, and supervise laundry production teams. Ensure laundry procedures are followed and finished linens are to set standard

• You have a key role in staff development, which includes assisting with the selection and training of new team members, participating in performance rewards and evaluations, and support with documentation
• Develop a team to ensure standards are met for proper use of all equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Build and manage budgets/P&L statements and provide solutions for any financial goal variances.
• Follow and ensure all Enchantment Resort and Mii Amo Spa Standards and safety protocols are consistently met.
• Maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for tidiness and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately.
• Fills in positions in Laundry when needed (due to absences, breaks, etc.).
• Trains staff in safe operation of equipment and the use of proper processing methods.
• Instruct and inform laundry associates of schedule and equipment to be used.
• Monitor par levels and advice laundry manager when reordering is needed.
• Monitor stain percentage, damaged linen and production reports.
• Coordinates maintenance with laundry mechanics.
• Ability to perform all positions in the laundry and uniform room including safe and proper operation of all equipment.
• Other duties as assigned

Laundry Attendants

Director of Rooms

• Three to five years proven leadership and management experience operating a high-volume laundry; either in a hospitality or institutional laundry operation.
• Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays and split shifts according to business needs.
• Attention to detail and able to multi-task many priorities.
• Self motivated, ability to work with little supervision and organized.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
