Job Summary:The position is responsible for onboarding employees, performing data entry, preparing reports, scheduling appointments, and receiving and directing incoming telephone calls and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner. It involves performing various Human Resources duties, providing administrative support to the HR management team, and interacting regularly with employees and visitors.

Pay: $19.50 per hour
Schedule:
Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Continually focus on providing exceptional guest service as a primary goal, both in how work is conducted and when interacting with guests, internal and external.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
- Process new employee electronic onboarding to include initial and ongoing communication, sending and following up with all required new hire paperwork, Sterling background checks (manual & iCIMS integration), maintaining compliance with E-Verify requirements and ensuring all documents are completed and accurate in a timely manner.
- Works with HR Manager to improve the current process to increase efficiency and productivity
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Ensure departmental adherence to all prescribed Company, statutory/regulatory policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative or office role, preferably with two (2) years of customer service experience and a understanding of Human Resources procedures and best practices.
- Excellent communication (oral or written), comprehension (provide and understand direction), and reasoning (problem solving and troubleshooting) skills.
- High proficiency in computer skills with ability to effectively use and/or learn any necessary software related to topics such as MS Office programs (Word and Excel), HRIS (Cloud Suite and iCIMS), timekeeping, and all other company assigned software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times, in all situations.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks/projects within an established and scheduled time frame.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) language skills a plus.
