Position: Software Test Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Huachuca

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teammates, SCRUM teams, software developers, and program management to ensure alignment on quality goals and project deliverables.

* Design, execute, and maintain functional test cases to validate that application features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.

* Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of automated testing scripts to increase test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.

* Contribute to the development of performance testing scripts to evaluate system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under load.

* Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide testing status and quality metrics.

* Identify, document, and track software defects; collaborate with developers to facilitate timely resolution and re-testing.
Requirements:
* Requires a Bachelor’s degree; or an Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience in a relevant technical curriculum or at least 30 hours in math, information technology, and statistics and must include Integral and Differential calculus.

* This position requires an Active or Interim Secret security clearance on hire date or the ability to obtain one

* Skills to write test procedures and review test data to ensure that hardware is tested properly and has passed all required tests.

* Understanding of manual and automated test execution processes.

* Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to write and present complex issues in a clear, concise, and easily understood manner

* Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, internal/external customers, and end-users.

* Proficiency using MS Office 365 suite.

* Current TS Clearance is desired.

* SCRUM, Leading SAFe, any AI in T&E Certs

* Familiarity with Java script,

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $40,000 - $65,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
