2nd Shift - Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, Central Fill, Health and Wellness Central Operations

Position SummaryWalmart Central Fill Pharmacy focuses on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is fully automated, enabling prescriptions to be filled quickly and accurately. Although we do not provide patient‑facing services, our role enables retail pharmacies to dedicate more time to community clinical services and education.
The starting pay is $18.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 shift differential for the second shift. The second shift schedule is from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., consisting of 4 days per week for a total of 40 hours, with Sunday availability required.
Responsibilities- Maintain sorter operation by removing full totes, replenishing empty totes, scanning totes and locations with a hand‑held scanner, and rearranging units to ensure proper fill rates.
- Move, lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Manage product deliveries by preparing, reviewing, and verifying receiving documentation; processing, counting, separating, and scanning product; operating software to track inventory; unloading product from trailers; organizing inventory; and maintaining records, logs, and shipping manifests.
- Maintain inventory quality, accuracy, and integrity by removing damaged or expired product, resolving discrepancies, notifying management of process issues, and performing basic equipment maintenance (e.g., cleaning, label or ribbon changes).
- Complete work assignments and priorities by following policies, using data and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers, identifying priorities and deadlines, communicating progress, recommending improvement opportunities, and adapting to change and feedback.
- Ensure accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products by packing prescriptions, placing packages on conveyors for sorting, packing temperature‑sensitive medication per specifications, ensuring supplies are included, stocking workstations, labeling shipments using approved carrier software, and verifying pickup and delivery paperwork.
- High school diploma
- 18 years old or older
- 1 year experience in shipping and receiving.
- 1 year experience in inventory control.
