** What You Will Do*
* Under general supervision, this role will oversee and coordinate the safe, efficient operation of a designated work unit. Lead cross-functional teams supporting technology and autonomous fleet maintenance. You will ensure procedures are developed and followed to improve fleet reliability and maximize physical availability.

+ Ensure smooth operations of production shifts by executing production plans and schedules

+ Provide operational input for autonomous fleet maintenance planning

+ Enforce safety and operating procedures in compliance with federal and state regulations

+ Inspect work units to ensure goals and schedules are met

+ Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams including maintenance, engineering, safety, and environmental

+ Supervise first-line or shift supervisors and manage strategic and execution-level maintenance work

+ Perform other duties as assigned

** What You Bring To Freeport*
* +  
** Bachelor's degree
** in a mining-related technical discipline and 3+ years of operational experience including supervisory or lead roles; OR

+  
** High school diploma
** and 7+ years of related operational experience including supervisory or lead roles

+ Strong knowledge of supervisory methods, safety practices, and hazard recognition

+ Skilled in equipment troubleshooting, budget administration, and effective communication

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + 1+ year of experience with autonomous mining equipment

+ Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

+ Familiarity with autonomous systems technology and Caterpillar/mining equipment

+

Experience with Power BI and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

** What We Offer You*
* The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently  **$105,000 - $145,000.**  This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
