The Production Assistant serves primarily as a bilingual communication and operations support role, acting as a bridge between the U.S. manufacturing team and Chinese-speaking HQ teams. This position ensures accurate interpretation, smooth coordination, and clear alignment on production plans, operational updates, and daily communications.

• Act as the primary Mandarin–English interpreter between local production teams and China-based HQ
• Translate and interpret meetings, emails, reports, SOPs, and operational instructions
• Support daily communication regarding production schedules, workflow updates, and operational issues
• Assist management in clearly conveying expectations, timelines, and process changes
• Facilitate cross-cultural communication to reduce misunderstandings and improve collaboration
• Relay production data, feedback, and concerns accurately between teams
• Support HQ visits, audits, and on-site meetings requiring bilingual coordination
• Assist the Production Manager with general operational support as needed

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) – required
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, or production environments preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and accurately
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations support, or coordination roles preferred

• Ability to walk the production floor regularly
• Occasional lifting to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a noisy, indoor manufacturing environment
