Role Purpose
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain highly automated and advanced production machinery and equipment according to predictive maintenance schedules, ensuring smooth operation, minimizing downtime, and meeting efficiency goals.
Accountabilities & Impact- Adhere to all plant and safety policies and procedures, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Ensure equipment meets safety standards and regulations.
- Effectively troubleshoot equipment to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Plan and execute predictive/preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Apply root‑cause problem solving to identify and perform equipment repairs and improvements.
- Participate in special projects on equipment upgrades or installations.
- Utilize fabrication skills such as cutting and welding (MIG, TIG or stick) and work with electrical systems including 480 VAC & 24 VDC power.
- Read and interpret schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams, repair variable‑frequency drives, servo motors, controllers, communication systems, PLC input/output cards, and safety modules.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used.
- Ensure preventive maintenance work orders are completed before departure from plant.
- Follow up with team members when passing ongoing work to the next shift.
- Assist the lead with developing and updating SOPs.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments without disrupting manufacturing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Locate parts in the CMMS system.
- Report and document parts used from inventory in accordance with inventory control program guidelines.
- Optimize the use of resources, including tools and equipment.
- Ensure smooth shift changes by providing updates on work in progress and equipment conditions.
- Escalate concerns to supervisors regarding safety, quality, performance goals, productivity, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
- Transfer specialist technical knowledge to peers and team members.
- Provide training to production staff on basic equipment operation and routine maintenance tasks.
- Work directly with leadership to develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement, equipment and/or facility upgrades, and corrective measures for recurring problems.
- Perform other various job duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree, certification or higher in a technical field preferred.
- 1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing; beverage or packaging experience preferred.
- Safe use of hand and power tools, welders, lifts, multimeters, and industrial shop equipment.
- Proficient in reading schematics for process and instrumentation diagrams and repairing variable‑frequency drives etc.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Computer and software skills such as MS Office, Excel, Word, and Email; proficiency with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Ability to manage well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to prioritize work while multitasking.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exposure to occupational hazards such as high noise levels, chemicals, and physical obstacles.
- Subject to extreme heat and cold temperatures.
- Ability to perform tasks over long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, stand/move 8–12 hours per day, and ascend/descend stairs and ladders.
- Requires fine motor skills and dexterity.
- Must wear PPE including bump cap, safety steel toe shoes, safety glasses, dust masks or PAPRS.
- Must adhere to GMPs.

CompensationPay starts at $33.99 per hour.
