Forklift Operator, Material Handler

Forklift Operator - Multiple Shifts Available
Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Operator II, you will play a key role in moving, organizing, and tracking materials throughout the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain accurate inventory. You will also perform tasks from the Warehouse Operator I role as needed, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficient operations.
Onboarding
Schedule:
A structured 4–5 day onboarding program, usually from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, is included. New employees are expected to complete this program during their first week.
- 1st shift – 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- 2nd shift – 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- 3rd shift – 11:00 pm–7:30 am, Sunday through Thursday
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., stand‑up hi‑lo, pallet jack).
- Utilize handheld scanner to capture data.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying shipments against documentation.
- Perform cycle counts and update inventory systems.
- Organize and label warehouse storage areas.
- Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and maintain workflow.
- Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs arise.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and inventory systems.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
- Strong organization and time‑management abilities.
- Team‑oriented and dependable attitude.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.64–$23.64. This range reflects a good faith estimate and final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, skills, and location. A $1.50 per hour shift differential is paid for the 2nd shift and $3.00 per hour for the 3rd shift.
