Set-up Technician; Overnight shift

Position Summary

As a Set‑Up Technician you will help keep our production equipment running smoothly by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machines for each job. You will support line set‑up, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient production.

This role operates on the 3rd shift, with a schedule of Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

All new employees complete a structured 4–5 day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, during their first week.

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment
• Set up and operate manufacturing and packaging machines
• Make adjustments and perform minor repairs to support productivity
• Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime
• Monitor and optimize lines during production runs
• Match labels with batch records and verify accuracy
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts
• Assist operators and maintenance technicians as needed
• Create or update machine centerline procedures
• Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience
• Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs

• Comfortable using computers or tablets
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Able to read, write, and understand English
• Team‑oriented and dependable
• Organized and attentive to detail
• Able to adapt to changing tasks and environments

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.48, including a $3.00 per hour shift differential. Please note that the pay range provides a good‑faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
